Already on Storyblok
Many teams we meet are a year or two into Storyblok. The platform was the right call. The migration was rushed or copied the old site one-to-one, and the setup underneath it hasn’t caught up:
- Each brand or market got its own space, so one shared change has to be made five times.
- The content model was copied one-to-one from the old CMS, so editors still raise a ticket for a new page layout.
- Components were built for launch day, not for the next market, so every rollout starts from scratch.
- Localisation runs on copy and paste rather than on Storyblok’s own tooling.
- The team that built it has moved on, and nobody owns the roadmap for the space.
